Welcome in Lesotho
His Kingdom
in the Sky!
Hi there, we are the Moliko family. We live and work in a rural place in the mountains of Lesotho called Tebellong. We work for an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and are send out as missionaries by our church in The Netherlands. It is our desire that our lives may reflect the Father who loves us and His Son, Jesus Christ, who saves us!

Members of the Moliko Family!
Our family consists of 4 members. Koili, a farmer. Gerdien a teacher and our daughters Sterre (4) and Bella (1).
Koili (pronounce kwidi), a farmer with dreadlocks who loves to design his own equipment. He is farming God’s way

The country is called Lesotho. The people are called Basotho, one person is called a Mosotho, and the language is called Sesotho!
The name of our webpage ‘His Kingdom in the sky’ comes from the fact that Lesotho is referred to as ‘The Kingdom in the sky’. Lesotho in its totality is more than 1000m above sea level.

Farming Project

Farming God's Way
Koili is running his own small scale farm in which he practices ‘Farming God’s way. By doing that he tries to conserve the soil and show people that they can still have a good harvest.
Pre-School

The Good Shepherd
Gerdien is running a pre-school. This school is a learning environment for the children and the teachers. We use the Early Childhood Biblical Curriculum designed by YWAM.
Living in the Village

Living in Tebellong
We believe that ‘just’ living here is as much part of our mission. We want to live and work among the Basotho of Tebellong, so that we can be an example of what it means to follow Jesus.
Outreach teams

Outreach teams
We do consider ourselves a good outreach location for teams who are up for a challenge. It is a real outdoor place in a beautiful scenery. Join one of our own projects to help out.
How can you help and support us?
We do hope and pray that our work here is carried by the support and love of others. Mission work is always done together. That’s why we have some practical ways of how you can be involved in what we do here.
Pray!
Pray for the Basotho. Pray for the projects. Pray for us as a family
Give!
So we can expand our projects. We, as a family, also live from gifts.
Come!
If you want to come for a visit to see this beautiful place by yourself.
